Blowing Rocks Preserve My favorite time to photograph these amazing rock formations is during low tide at sunrise, when the rocks are exposed. At high tide and during storms, crashing waves create huge geysers through holes in the rocks, creating "blowing rocks". Jupiter, Florida.
